All in all, Holder admirably defended his decision and admirably faced his critics when dragged before a congressional committee.

Oh boy, where to begin on this.... :D

Holder's performance at the Senate Hearing was abysmal.

He stuttered constantly, he wasn't prepared, he didn't know information he should have, his arguments were grossly inaccurate and self-serving and he seemed to be in love with his "It depends" answer... Can you imagine Holder NOT having a plan for when Osama Bin Laden is finally captured??

He claims that one of the reasons for holding trials in NYC is to because of "justice delayed". But, as one of the Senators pointed out, justice has only been delayed because of whiney bleeding heart lawyers from the Hysterical Left were hell bent on providing all the aid and comfort possible to terrorists. Ironically enough, Holder used to work for the very firm that spearheaded this SAVE THE TERRORISTS effort. No one sees the conflict of interest here???

*I* am more deserving of the MIDOTW than Holder is.... :D

With the end-of-year break in there, it is already an extremely tough schedule to meet if Congress really wants to pass this by the State Of The Union speech in late January.

Ahhhhh, so we have a NEW deadline for DunselCare, eh?? :D All those who bet against me when I said that DunselCare wouldn't be done by the end of the year (if ever) need to pay up! :D

I especially like Point 1. I would add that every time the GOP complains about the length of the bill, it should be compared to the annual budget, which is far, far longer. Personally, I like to tweak Alabama Republicans with the fact that our racist state constitution is several times longer -- and they're fine with that.

One thing I don't see addressed in the FTP, though, is the cost argument. Republicans will keep repeating the size of the bill without context, so it's important that Democrats mention the total size of the bill for ten years is less than the cost of Afghanistan and Iraq this year alone.
