You and I and anyone else with more than two politically oriented brain-cells to rub together know that it will be ANYTHING but bi-partisan. There is absolutely NO DOUBT in anyone's mind that has a pulse that it WILL be a partisan witch-hunt. Period..

Let me ask ya'all this.

What would it serve?? What could be gained by dragging it all out in the open?? What purpose could possibly be met by slinging mud on a galactic scale?

The answer is....

ZILCH... NONE... NADA.... NOTHING...

Absolutely NOTHING would be served other than the political desires of the Left and the Hysterical Left..

I can tell you what would be lost....

Intelligence assets, procedures and practices would be the first on the chopping block. All of the classified information that MUST, by definition, remain secret will be laid bare.. Our intelligence relationships with other countries would suffer tremendously. No country in the WORLD would ever trust the US or share ANY sort of intel with the US ever again. This would, in turn, severely limit our ability to pre-empt terrorist threats and attacks..

So, if this does come to pass, then the next terrorist attack that kills thousands or even millions will be the SOLE and COMPLETE responsibility of those who pushed for this witch hunt...

Hope ya'all can sleep tight with THAT kind of responsibility on your shoulders.. I wouldn't wish such knowledge on my worst enemy..

He's not worried by an assassination ring. Even though it's apparent the JSOC squads may have operated in friendly countries, that's not enough. I mean, it's what America's been doing with Predator drones since...oh, September 12th.

No, I think this is about Michale's favorite issue: torture. Specifically, people tortured to death.

While I am still willing to give this administration a little more time and see how this plays out in Congress and DoJ, I am starting to worry that this whole issue may have a lasting and detrimental impact on the Obama-Biden administration, when all is said and done.
