It's also interesting to note that all Democrats in Congress want Guantanamo closed.

Yet, not ONE SINGLE Congress Critter wants the terrorists relocated to their home states..

Iddn't that interesting??

If these scumbags aren't terrorists and are completely innocent, then what's the harm in holding them, say in Pelosi's district?? Or Reid's district??

Simply more of that Democratic Party hypocrisy I referred to earlier...

Reminds me of the L.A.R.K. program that Rumsfield instituted a bit ago... Not many takers on that one either amongst the bleeding hearts..

I wonder why...

I expect some serious legislating from the bench in the near future but it will be OK if the GOP does it ;-)

Just as it's perfectly OK for one Party to control the government, as long as it's the Democratic Party. But one Party control is BAD for the country, if that one Party is the GOP. ;D

Like I said. When it comes to blatant hypocrisy, the Left is no different from the Right..

I laughed at the 'past tense of the when-pigs-fly' joke! In fact, the whole interview was nicely infused with humour and an informative take on the whole '100 days' thing.

You'll have to let us know when the next one comes up. You're gonna be a star!

Well, hopefully they will leave blaming others to the GOP and start taking responsibility for their actions, something Obama seems quite willing to do.

I couldn't agree with you more on this... But I wouldn't hold your breath..

When it comes down to it there is really no difference between the Right & Left...

The democrats can blame the GOP until the cows come home. Republicans are still blaming Clinton for just about everything and that was almost a decade ago :-)

Well, hopefully they will leave blaming others to the GOP and start taking responsibility for their actions, something Obama seems quite willing to do.

We can have it both ways. In a move of great hypocrisy, the GOP are going to latch on to their last bastion of power: the supreme court. I expect some serious legislating from the bench in the near future but it will be OK if the GOP does it ;-)

Ya know, ya'all might be shooting yerselves in the foot with all this orgasmic gushing regarding the alleged irrelevance of the GOP...

How can ya'all blame the GOP for the upcoming ills and problems this country is going to face if ya'all are on record as stating that the GOP is irrelevant??

Ya can't have it both ways... Either the GOP is a party of Monster Raving Loons and is irrelvant.... Or they are "threat" to this country and all of our freedoms...

Which is it??

@CW

You DO realize that, by Specter leaving the GOP, it will be that much harder for President Obama to get his SCOTUS picks confirmed.

I just listened to your segment, Chris, and you were excellent.

On TPs 2 and 3, I have to say that the GOP's strategic error is becoming more starkly apparent now. They've marginalized themselves to the point of borderline irrelevance and their tent has shrunk to a size "tiny." It's little wonder that Republican House reps are following Michelle Bachmann's lead and embracing Teh Wackyâ„¢ as a philosophy: the tinfoil-hats are all they have left.
