The fact that marijuana is on Schedule I says everything you need to know about the politics of drug laws. One discovery I made while training for my job was that cocaine has an NDC number. On slow days at work, I have attempted to do price checks on various amounts, but there's no standardized pricing because there are no legal manufacturers. Meanwhile, I live in an area where Crohn's Disease is an epidemic, and am acquainted with several people whose lives depend on marijuana. One of them is a former minister.
