The only thing that may prevent President Obama from using it...besides the aforementioned weak link...could be his not entirely misplaced fear of waking up the next day to media headlines like "Obama Killed Bipartisanship!"...because that's precisely how the incompetent and inept media/blogosphere/punditocracy (present company excepted, of course!), not to mention the GOP, would interpret it...and would keep on interpreting it until it turns into "Obama Worse Than Bush!" After two years of this, who knows what might happen in 2010. But, I'd be willing to bet that Obama/Biden don't scare easily. I really like the reconciliation concept.
