For those of you who think Ayers was a "nice" terrorist, consider these two facts..

The people who died, fellow terrorists so no big loss, were blown up while constructing a nail bomb.. Now, as I have said, I have nearly a quarter century in the field and I can assure you with complete expertise that a nail bomb has only ONE use.. And that is to kill people.

Secondly, consider the story of John Murtaugh whose home was firebombed by Ayers and his fellow terrorists one cold Feburary morning WHILE THE FAMILY SLEPT...

The ONLY reason that no innocent people were ever killed is simply due to the fact that Ayers and his fellow terrorists were incompetent... Not from lack of desire to kill people.

You have probably heard about the alleged voice yelling out "KILL HIM" during a Palin rally..

Why would the Left concoct such a bogus story?? Especially since Obama is apparently ahead in the election???

I think you're right that voters have finally grown tired of the attacks. This may be the net benefit of the Hillary campaign followed by McCain.

After a while, it's just old. And Hillary already used up all McCain's attacks. She even did a better job than McCain

What just amazes me is how much press all of this crap is actually getting even though it's just gossip.

I can't wait until McCain accuses Obama of having met with the Devil back in '79 in a remote woods in a Hawthorne novel.

But Ayers, in his book, rejected the label "terrorist," since none of their bombs killed anybody (except an accident in New York City where the only ones killed were the Weathermen making the bombs), and indeed they took precautions to see that they didn't.

Sorry.. A terrorist is a terrorist is a terrorist..

Terrorism is defined as ongoing and systematic attacks of violence specifically targeted against innocent civilian persons or property for the purpose of furthering a political, economical or ideological agenda.

Ayers IS a terrorist.

You don't think people were terrorized when bombs were going off all the time??

You think people knew (or cared) that Ayers and his fellow terrorists were allegedly going to great lengths to insure no one would be hurt or killed??

William Ayers is a terrorist. He will always be a terrorist.

It's really that simple...

As to the Obama connection, what I want to know is, did Obama know that Ayers was a terrorist when he accepted the invitations to associate with Ayers?

That is the question that Obama keeps dodging.

And, until Obama fully and completely answers that question, this issue will do him some damage..

Pacing is everything with this ticket. Obama's been keeping his powder dry while the campaign plays out. Keating Five isn't even his biggest trump card -- just count how many times Obama and Biden will use the word "gambling" in reference to McCain this week. And speaking of Biden: his mother's death, though tragic, could not have been better-timed. Right as Biden needed to be out of our field of vision so we could see Palin's gaffes and mudslinging, he's offstage and out-of-mind. It's just like Obama's mini-vacation after the DNC that took him off the front pages long enough to let McCain play his single biggest trump card, the VP pick, and get his "bump" over with. Obama is the genius Rove never really was.

In a way it is a good thing that Sen. McCain is going negative because that will ensure that everyone will go out an vote.
