New ad Obama put out...

The ad will air in Alaska, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Virginia.

Looks like he's going to play for Alaska.

Thanks for writing this. It's rare that we Alaskans get any recognition anywhere, except for our dangerous jobs that make good reality TV.

This year for the first time I think we have a great shot at getting rid of Ted Stevens, who everybody knows, and also our lone congressman Don Young. The only problem with Young is that he will likely lose in the Primary, and Sean Parnell our current Lt. Governor will beat any Democratic challenger in November.

Word on the street up here is that our super delegates held out supporting Obama until he said that he would come up here. The Super Tuesday caucuses up here were amazing, with 75% going for Obama, and with a visit from the man himself I think the energy would be amazing. And there is a good chance that we could turn this state blue across the board.

He wouldn't need to point out the scandals. Apparently everyone in Alaska knows about them quite well already. I wouldn't even bring them up, just going there would make an impact.

Take two days to hit Anchorage, Fairbanks, Juneau, and Eagle River and you've hit where about 50% of the population of Alaska are located.

While he might not win Alaska, getting to 60 Senate seats will go a long way for the Dems.

One of the reasons the Democratic Party has trouble getting their spines in an upright and secure position is this idiotic fear that if we point out their crooks then they'll point out ours. But they do anyway, don't they? Sure, the Ds should come down like a ton of bricks on their own lowlife bottom-feeders, but that shouldn't keep them from going after the Rs. Politics ain't beanbag -- go for it.

I think that it is important for the candidates to pay attention to and visit all of the states. Not because a candidate might have a chance there but to show that they intend to represent the entire country. This is a national election after all.

The problem with raising scandals so gleefully against the GOP is that the Dem's hands are hardly as pure as the driven snow..

By going after the GOP's scandals, the Dems run the very real risk of emphasizing their OWN scandalous actions..

Scandal is a double edged sword that doesn't care who it cuts...
