This mornings version was, "We're fighting them over there so we don't have to FACE them over here." As if we wouldn't face them over here. I expect we'll have to fight them over here BECAUSE we're fighting them over there. In some parallel universe, there's a humble America, a responsible neighbor in a peaceful world. "Out on the edge of darkness, there rides a peace train" - Yusuf Islam - Just caught Bush addressing someone or another and he's got a new version of that tired old, "We're fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them over here."
